Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of “fooding (food.stolencheese.com)” (the “Service”). They apply globally, and where mandatory local consumer laws apply, those laws prevail.

1. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms in compliance with applicable laws. Material changes will be notified via in-service notices or email with reasonable advance notice where appropriate.

2. The Service

The Service aggregates and presents restaurant information featured in content such as YouTube. After sign-in, users can post and delete comments. The Service supports multiple languages including Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese. Features may change with prior notice.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

  • Sign-up is via email (magic link) or Google OAuth. No passwords are collected.
  • Provide accurate information. You may not transfer, lease, or sell your account.
  • The Service is not available to children under 13. Where a higher minimum age applies by law, access is restricted accordingly.

4. User Content (e.g., Comments)

  • Your content may be publicly displayed. You are responsible for your content.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, store, back up, and reformat your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
  • Prohibited: unlawful content; rights infringement; pornographic/hate/harassment; spam/ads; fraud.

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Violations of law; infringement of third-party rights (IP, publicity, etc.)
  • Automated scraping/crawling; reverse engineering; abusive access
  • Impersonation; misinformation; interference with normal operations
  • Malware distribution; security bypass; unauthorized data access

6. Enforcement

We may warn, remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts for violations. Where legally required, we may cooperate with authorities and disclose necessary information.

7. Privacy

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review it carefully.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its contents (marks, logos, software, design) belong to us or our licensors. Except as permitted by law, you may not copy, distribute, or modify them without permission.

9. No Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or suitability of restaurant information. You are responsible for your own decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; data loss; or disputes between users or with third parties. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, this clause may not fully apply.

11. Indemnity

If your violations cause us harm, you agree to indemnify us for damages and reasonable legal fees, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Changes and Termination

We may change or discontinue parts or all of the Service. We will provide reasonable notice where appropriate.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence prevail where applicable. Disputes will be resolved first by negotiation, and failing that, in the courts of the Republic of Korea, subject to applicable private international law.
