If you prefer tender textures, go for the marinated beef galbisal that’s been softened with seasoning. If you’re into a cleaner flavor with more chew, the fresh beef galbisal is the way to go. Me? I’d definitely eat both 🤤. Don’t miss the complimentary doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) that comes with the meat—it’s been the same delicious taste for decades. Honestly, it’s top-tier among Korean BBQ stews. With marinated meat and doenjang jjigae, 🍚 rice isn’t optional—it’s the default. Meat may feel like the appetizer, but rice is the true main dish. Here’s a sweet tip 🍯: add some rice and a few pieces of meat into the doenjang jjigae and eat it like a “doenjang sulbap” (soybean stew mixed with rice and meat).
