Here’s “Ultari Gopchang,” a delicious gopchang spot near Jungnang Station in Jungnang-gu, Seoul!

This place is also known as a restaurant recommended by singer Youngji. One of the biggest perks is how convenient it is: takeout and delivery are available, and there’s no break time, so you can stop by whenever you want. On top of that, portions are super generous, prices are affordable, and the restaurant is kept very clean—all major plus points.

In the video, the first dishes introduced were salt-grilled makchang and cheese gopchang (and the top pick in the video was the salt-grilled makchang).

Pork makchang isn’t usually this tender, but this place is known for making it exceptionally soft and easy to chew. The cheese gopchang also has a really tasty seasoning—flavorful but balanced—so it feels like something most people would enjoy. It’s especially delicious wrapped in lettuce.

Just a quick note: the bean sprout soup is self-serve, so you’ll need to ladle it yourself.

If you want to add one more menu item, consider the baek-sundae (plain sundae). People say it’s genuinely great—and you won’t regret it.

One more tip: when ordering gopchang, I highly recommend adding glass noodles (dangmyeon). They give you a very generous amount, and it pairs perfectly with the sauce. 👍

And of course, you already know the finale: fried rice. Stir-fried in rich pork fat with that well-seasoned sauce—honestly, it’s dangerously good. You might want to come here fully prepared to gain a little happiness weight. 😄
