It’s fine for a solo meal, but I definitely recommend coming with at least two people so you can enjoy both the gamjatang and fried rice 😉. The meat here is sourced directly from Majang-dong, Seoul’s famous butchery market, so everything is super clean and delicious 🥰.

Instead of being a rustic, old-school style, this gamjatang is fresh, neat, and generously portioned. For reference, the “special” size comes with about three pork bones. Gamjatang can vary depending on personal preference—some like it rich and heavy, others lighter and clearer. Here, the flavor is so clean that it’s hard to imagine anyone disliking it. It feels like the ballad of the gamjatang world—gentle but full of depth ✨.

The “Original Gamjatang” is served as a gukbap: shredded pork neck mixed in with egg in the broth. While it’s similar to pork bone hangover soup, the taste is a bit richer, with even more meat inside. Think of it as a pork-based version of yukgaejang. Great value, big portions, and surprisingly satisfying 🎁.

If you want a hearty meal, go for the Original Gukbap. If you’re looking for something to enjoy with drinks, the pork bone hangover soup is a solid choice 🤩. But ❗️don’t forget—the gamjatang itself is the must-try first❗️
