Since 1990, this is a long-running restaurant specializing in octopus and squid dishes, located near Apgujeong Rodeo Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
They offer a lunch menu from 12 PM to 5 PM, where you can enjoy a delicious meal at a budget-friendly price—something that’s not so common in Seoul these days. It feels like the perfect place for nearby office workers to drop by.
In the featured video, they especially recommended the squid dishes rather than the octopus menu.
The first dish introduced is Spicy Stir-fried Squid Bulgogi. Rather than a “typical Korean flavor,” it’s better described as a special local taste that carries a sense of nostalgia. The seasoning is bold with a pleasantly spicy kick, and if you add glass noodles (dangmyeon) and mix them with the thickened sauce… just imagining it is addictive. Honestly, it feels like a flavor almost anyone in Korea would love—maybe the ultimate in crave-worthy, punchy taste.

If you enjoy the squid bulgogi, try ordering the fried squid as well. It’s crispy on the outside and wonderfully chewy inside—an easy crowd-pleaser. A crucial tip: dip the fried squid into the squid bulgogi sauce!
And of course, the finale has to be fried rice. If you’ve nearly finished the squid bulgogi but still want something more, add 볶음밥. A staff member stir-fries it for you with some impressive skills. Since the sauce is already great, the fried rice can’t miss.
If you’re looking for a nostalgic local gem in Apgujeong Rodeo, Gangnam, be sure to visit this place!
